Opportunity for a Senior Legal Counsel to join a leader in Pensions Solutions and Investments on a 12 month fixed term contract to cover for a period of maternity leave.

• September start preferred
• City office with hybrid working
• Option for part time, 4 days/week

• Looking for a background in Corporate, Investments OR Commercial

Reporting to the Head of Legal, as an integral part of a small team you will have a varied remit including:

• draft, review and negotiation of commercial contracts
• transactional support on M&A such as acquisition of infrastructure assets and related documentation
• provision of advice concerning direct investments and funds
• instructing external counsel when required
• liaising with regulators such as the FCA
• involvement on business-wide projects and change programs

To be considered for this role you will be 5+ years PQE as a guide with experience gained ideally in a financial services environment, either in a similar in-house position or relevant team within a reputable law firm. Flexible on background from either Corporate, Commercial, Investment Management.
