I’m working with one of the world’s leading global financial institutions on a standout Senior Legal Counsel opportunity within their Leveraged & Acquisition Finance and Event Financing Legal team.

This is a rare opportunity to join a globally integrated legal function supporting complex, cross-border financings across London, Paris, Düsseldorf, Dubai and the US.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the structuring, negotiation and execution of finance documentation across leveraged finance, event financing, infrastructure and investment grade transactions
• Support transactions end-to-end — from pitch phase through to completion and beyond
• Partner closely with origination teams, providing commercially focused legal advice
• Review and escalate legal, reputational and regulatory issues, driving effective resolutions
• Manage key stakeholder relationships across senior management, Credit, Compliance, ESG, Tax and global Legal teams
• Oversee and coordinate external counsel to ensure cost-effective and strategic delivery
• Stay ahead of legal and regulatory developments impacting leveraged and event finance markets

What we’re looking for:

• Qualified lawyer with experience gained in private practice or in-house within a leading financial institution
• Strong experience in Term Loan B (essential); high yield and/or private credit experience beneficial
• Deep understanding of banking, corporate and financing structures across major jurisdictions
• Proven ability to lead complex, cross-border transactions and operate with autonomy
• Strong commercial judgement with the ability to navigate ambiguity and deliver pragmatic solutions
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
