We are working on behalf of a highly regarded City law firm to recruit an experienced Senior Legal Operations Manager to support across different practice groups.

About the Role

We’re seeking a Senior Legal Operations Manager to act as a trusted operational partner to senior lawyers, helping drive performance, profitability and operational excellence across one or more Practice Groups.

Embedded within the Practice Group leadership team, you’ll be the operational “right hand” to the Practice Group Leader. You’ll play a pivotal role in delivering practice group strategy, improving processes, optimising resourcing and ensuring firmwide initiatives are implemented effectively at a local level.

Working closely with Finance, HR, Business Development, Legal Technology and Transformation teams, you’ll turn insight into action; ensuring the practice group runs efficiently, innovates continuously and delivers value to clients.

About You

You bring strong operational experience from a legal or professional services environment and are comfortable operating at a senior stakeholder level. You’re commercially minded, data‑driven and confident in interpreting financial information to inform decision‑making.

You’ll also have:

• Excellent stakeholder management, influencing and project delivery skills
• High levels of discretion, attention to detail and organisational ability
• A continuous‑improvement mindset with an interest in technology and legal innovation
• The confidence to work independently while collaborating seamlessly across teams
