Senior Logistics Manager Location: RG7 4PR, between Reading and Basingstoke, free on‑site parking. Package depending on suitability, qualifications and experience. Working Pattern: 9‑day working fortnight. Key Accountabilities

Management and leadership of all logistics personnel within the area, ensuring the team has the capabilities required now and in the future. Lead the life cycle management of material, GFA, consumables and spares, from demand identification through disposition, maintaining accurate records. Accountable for receipt and dispatch of materials and inventory within the area, engaging with internal and external stakeholders. Oversee effective inventory management and control of stock, liaise with Supply Chain Management and international shipping, and report inventory accounts to the central logistics sub‑function. Direct warehousing activities, ensuring appropriate storage of materials and assets and arranging inspections/tests/maintenance to corporate standards. Lead transport activities within the area. Deliver continuous performance improvements across all logistics functions within the area.

Requirements

British citizen, resident in the UK for the past 5 years (SC clearance) or 10 years (DV clearance). Security clearance will be funded by AWE. Capacity to work on site at AWE Aldermaston; limited work‑from‑home opportunities due to classified nature of the work. Ability to adapt to a 1‑stage interview process conducted over Teams.
