Job Description
Connect Appointments are recruiting a Senior Maintenance Electrician to join our manufacturing client within the Dundee and Angus area .

This is a full-time permanent position , working either a three or four shift rotation ; with a salary of £40,000 (three shift) or £43,000 (four shift) per annum.
\n
Three shifts across days, backs and nights ; paid annually at £40,000 per year.
\n
\n
Week 1: Monday to Friday, 3pm to 11pm (Back Shift 1)
\n
Week 2: Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm (Day Shift 1)
\n
Week 3: Monday to Friday, 7am to 3pm (Day Shift 2)
\n
Week 4: Monday to Friday, 4pm to 12am (Back Shift 2)
\n
Week 5: Sunday to Thursday, 12am to 8am (Night Shift)
\n
\n
There will be an on-call arrangement for this shift pattern between midnight on Friday to midnight on Sunday - this will be covered by the employee working Week 4 (back shift 2) - so you will be on call one weekend in every five.
\n
Four shifts working 4-on 4-off across days and nights ; paid annually at £43,000 per annum.
\n
\n
X2 days, working 8am to 8pm
\n
X2 nights, working 8pm to 8am
\n
\n
Working as a Senior Maintenance Electrician , your duties will include:
\n
\n
Liaison with shift engineers to ensure work is done
\n
Organising work to be done on a shift-by-shift basis - prioritising where required
\n
Installation of plant and machinery
\n
Conducting preventative maintenance work
\n
Dealing with breakdowns (troubleshooting, repairing, reporting)
\n
Carrying out portable appliance testing
\n
Ensuring Health & Safety at all costs
\n
\n
To be successful in this Senior Maintenance Electrician role , you'll be a time served engineer (either mechanical or electrical) and educated to a HNC/C&G level. Combined with the following skills, traits and experiences:

Have additional training in opposite discipline (mechanical or electrical)
\n
Have the ability to work using your own initiative
\n
Have working knowledge of Electrical Regulations
\n
Have effective communication skills
\n
\n
