Senior Management Accountant - Fast Growth Tech - French Speaking - London (Hybrid)

Better Placed is partnering with a high-growth, international technology business looking to appoint a Senior Management Accountant at an exciting stage of its global expansion.

Operating as a true scale-up, the business has built a strong international presence and is continuing to grow rapidly across multiple markets. This role sits within a high-performing finance team and offers genuine scope to take ownership, drive improvements, and play a key role in supporting the business through its next phase.

Role Overview

Reporting into senior finance leadership, this position will take ownership of the French entity, with responsibility across management accounts, reporting, and analysis.

The role offers a blend of technical accounting, commercial insight, and stakeholder engagement, with a strong emphasis on delivering high-quality data, improving processes, and supporting decision-making across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Ownership of month-end close for French entity, including variance analysis vs forecast
• Ensuring compliance with French GAAP and maintaining high standards of data integrity
• With support from senior team members, you will help manage the annual audit process for the French entity
• Delivering weekly and monthly revenue and profitability reporting
• P&L analysis with clear linkage to budgeting and forecasting processes
• Producing clear, actionable insights for both finance and non-finance stakeholders
• Supporting overhead and revenue reporting across the business
• Driving improvements in processes, controls, and data accuracy
• Supporting and enhancing the use of systems (including expense management and ERP)
• Working cross-functionally to identify efficiencies and automation opportunities

Candidate Profile

• Exposure to French GAAP (desirable)
• Fluent in both French and English
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth or international environment preferred
• Confident working with both financial and non-financial stakeholders
• Commercially aware, with strong analytical capability
• Proactive, hands-on, and comfortable operating in a scaling environment

Package:

£45,000 - £55,000 + total comp including bonus is circa £65,000
