Role Overview

Allegis Global Solutions is hiring a Senior Manager, Group Capital Regulatory Reporting for one of its global banking clients.

This is a senior leadership role responsible for the business‑as‑usual delivery of capital regulatory reporting and disclosures for UK consolidations, including COREP Own Funds, Leverage, Large Exposures, and Pillar 3. The role provides end‑to‑end ownership of reporting, governance, and controls, while leading a geographically distributed team and partnering closely with senior stakeholders across Finance, Risk, and Treasury functions.


Key Responsibilities

Capital Regulatory Reporting

  • Lead the BAU delivery of capital regulatory reporting and disclosure requirements, including:
  • COREP Own Funds
  • Leverage Ratio
  • Large Exposures
  • Pillar 3 disclosures
  • Benchmarking and G‑SIB reporting
  • Ensure reports are accurate, timely, and compliant with applicable UK regulatory requirements.
  • Act as a key stakeholder in the quarterly disclosure process, working closely with group financial reporting teams.


Governance & Controls

  • Design, implement, and operate a robust control framework covering capital regulatory reporting.
  • Monitor control performance, manage issues and remediation, and support audit and regulatory reviews.
  • Own regulatory interpretation governance, ensuring consistent and well‑documented regulatory positions through appropriate forums and committees.


Stakeholder & Regulatory Engagement

  • Build strong working relationships with senior stakeholders across Group Risk, Treasury, Regulatory Policy, FP&A, Investor Relations, Finance Change, and country finance teams.
  • Support engagement with UK regulators and respond to ad‑hoc internal and external requests.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor to senior management on regulatory capital matters.


Change & Transformation

  • Provide product ownership and SME support for mandatory regulatory change initiatives, including Basel 3.1 (Basel 4).
  • Partner with finance change and technology teams to define business requirements, support solution design, and lead user acceptance testing.
  • Support remediation programmes related to data quality, governance, and regulatory findings.


People & Leadership

  • Lead a high‑performing team across onshore and offshore locations (including India) through direct and matrixed management.
  • Set clear objectives, provide regular feedback, and support training, development, and succession planning.
  • Review team structure and capabilities to ensure alignment with regulatory and business objectives.


Required Skills & Experience

  • Significant experience in capital regulatory reporting within a large banking environment.
  • Hands‑on ownership of COREP Own Funds, Leverage and Large Exposures reporting.
  • Strong exposure to Pillar 3 disclosures.
  • In‑depth understanding of regulatory capital, including capital supply, credit risk RWA, counterparty credit risk and operational risk.
  • Solid knowledge of Basel III / Basel 3.1 and UK regulatory requirements.
  • Proven experience designing and operating control frameworks.
  • Demonstrated leadership of global or offshore teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.


Desirable

  • Experience supporting regulatory change or remediation programmes.
  • Exposure to regulatory reporting systems and large‑scale data environments.
