Senior Manager Internal Communications
New Today
At AND-E, we’re shaping the future of mobility protection — combining insurance, technology and innovation as part of the global MS&AD group and in partnership with Toyota.
Following the announcement in March 2025 of a planned merger between our parent organisation’s two insurance entities, Aioi Nissay Dowa Insurance Co. Ltd and Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Co. Ltd, we are entering an exciting period of change and opportunity as part of a future world-leading global insurance organisation.
We are looking for an experienced Senior Internal Communications Manager to support our organisation through this next phase of evolution. 12 month FTC, Salary £70,000 - £90,000 (DOE)
This role plays a key part in helping colleagues navigate change — shaping clear, engaging communications that build understanding, connection and confidence. You will help define the narrative and engagement approach that keeps people informed, involved and proud to be part of what we are building.
This is an opportunity to join at a pivotal moment, working in a dynamic environment and helping to shape culture, ways of working and colleague experience during a period of positive change.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Director of Corporate Affairs and Public Relations, you will lead the planning and delivery of internal communications across our European business during a period of growth and development.
You will shape and deliver internal communications for a range of strategic initiatives, including organisational change and integration activity, ensuring colleagues across multiple countries, functions and cultures feel supported, informed and engaged.
Working in close partnership with senior leaders, People & Culture and transformation teams, you will translate complex topics into clear, relevant and human communication, helping colleagues understand what the future means for them.
This role will be instrumental in helping us:
* Build understanding and confidence in our future direction
* Create alignment around our strategy and priorities
* Support collaboration and cultural connection
* Maintain engagement, momentum and trust through change
What you’ll be doing
* Leading the development and delivery of internal communications strategies to support change, growth and integration activity.
* Designing and executing end-to-end communication plans that support organisational change, operating model developments and cultural initiatives.
* Acting as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, providing counsel, executive communications support and guidance.
* Creating clear, engaging and inspiring content that helps colleagues understand not just what is happening, but why it matters.
* Owning content planning and delivery across all internal channels – including our intranet (Unily), MS Teams, digital signage, townhalls and events.
* Working closely with People & Culture, Transformation and Programme teams to align communications with key milestones and business priorities.
* Leading and developing a small internal communications team, ensuring high-quality delivery and building capability.
* Listening to colleague feedback and sentiment, identifying risks and opportunities, and using insight to continuously improve communication and engagement.
Knowledge, Experience and Qualifications
This role is for a confident, credible and compassionate communicator who:
* Has proven experience leading internal or change communications in complex environments.
* Is comfortable operating at senior level, influencing leaders and building trusted relationships across a matrix organisation.
* Can bring structure, clarity and pace to evolving situations.
* Has strong judgement and emotional intelligence and can handle sensitive topics with care.
* Is a natural storyteller – able to turn strategy into meaning and complexity into clarity.
* Is excited by the opportunity to help shape the future of AND-E and support colleagues through change.
