Their Innovation Taxes team specialises in advising companies on R&D tax relief and related innovation incentives, helping clients identify qualifying activities and maximise the benefit of available tax relief.

Due to continued growth and recent team expansion, the firm is looking to appoint an R&D Tax Senior Manager to join its Innovation Taxes team.
This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in managing complex R&D tax engagements, developing client relationships and supporting the growth of the firm’s R&D advisory offering.
You will work closely with senior leadership while overseeing the delivery of R&D claims, supporting junior team members and acting as a trusted adviser to clients across a variety of sectors.
• Managing a portfolio of R&D tax clients and acting as a primary point of contact
• Leading technical discussions with clients to identify qualifying R&D projects and expenditure
• Overseeing the preparation of R&D claims and reviewing technical documentation produced by the team
• Ensuring all claims comply with relevant UK R&D tax legislation and HMRC guidance
• Managing multiple engagements simultaneously and ensuring deadlines are met
• Providing guidance, mentorship and line management to junior team members
• Working collaboratively with internal tax specialists and external stakeholders where required
• Supporting the development and growth of the firm’s Innovation Taxes offering
• Representing the firm at client meetings, seminars and industry events
The successful candidate will have strong experience working with UK R&D tax relief claims and the ability to confidently manage client relationships while overseeing technical delivery.
:
• Strong knowledge of UK R&D tax legislation and claim preparation
• Proven experience managing multiple R&D tax projects simultaneously
• Experience reviewing technical and financial documentation related to R&D claims
• Ability to confidently engage with senior stakeholders including CFOs, CTOs and Managing Directors
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical matters clearly
• Experience mentoring or managing junior team members

• Technical or academic background in a relevant discipline such as Computer Science or Engineering
