The team and the opportunity
At EY the Technology Delivery team executes and drives end‑to‑end transformational IT‑centric programmes and projects by delivering solutions that encompass people, process, and technology. We tailor our delivery approach to execute on IT and ICT strategies, and realise the IT investments that underpin core business objectives for our clients.
As part of our NextWave strategy, Programme Managers will provide leadership, support, and direction to client technology‑centric programmes. We are looking to recruit high‑performing individuals with a proven track record in Programme Management and/or Portfolio/Project Management to join our growing Technology Consulting business.

Your key responsibilities
Client Responsibilities
Lead end‑to‑end delivery of technology projects, focusing on ServiceNow reviews, implementations, and change projects.
Plan, direct, and coordinate medium to large‑sized teams from mobilisation to implementation, ensuring solutions are based on the ServiceNow platform.
Influence and negotiate project outcomes across multiple functions, preparing and presenting analysis and recommendations to governance forums and senior stakeholders.
Maintain focus on key priorities, manage dependencies, and realise business benefits within agreed timelines.
Advises on programmatic decisions that influence project direction and escalates unresolved issues to governance forums.
Internal Responsibilities
Understand EY’s consulting service offerings and identify opportunities to better serve clients and contribute to cross‑service line relationships.
Create innovative insights to help clients leverage vendor frameworks, improve IT offerings, and execute program commitments.
Lead Technology Consulting engagements, managing team performance, commercials, performance reviews, and engagement billings.
Develop people by supervising, coaching, and mentoring staff at all levels.
Lead and enforce workplace policies, procedures, and safety practices.
Skills and attributes for success
To qualify for the role, you must have:
5+ years of experience implementing ServiceNow.
Deep technical and functional knowledge of IT Service Management.
ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified System Administrator, Certified Implementation Specialist, Certified Architect) or willingness to obtain them.
ITIL certification or knowledge.
Knowledge of the ITSM market and related platforms.
Experience in a client‑facing role for a leading consulting or professional services firm, delivering large‑scale complex technical projects.
Experience in one or more focus industries: Energy & Assets, Financial Services, Government & Public Sector, Health & Wellness, Consumer Product & Retail, Telecommunications Media & Technology, Advanced Manufacturing.
Experience working in a matrix‑managed organisation.
Experience establishing, training, and managing teams comprising clients, contractors, and partners.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate IT strategy into measurable business benefits.
Track record of delivery within large‑scale technical transformation projects.
Experience aligning business and IT, operating across organisational and technology silos to deliver sustainable, agile, re‑usable solutions.
Ideally, you will also have:
Experience in Configuration Management, Service Request Management, and Service Level Management. Additional experience in IT Asset Management (HAM & SAM), IT Operations Management (CMDB & Discovery), or Integrated Risk Management is a plus.
Certification and/or knowledge of ITIL (v3 or v4).
A strong academic record with a third‑level degree in business or IT.
Project management experience tracking, monitoring, and advising on engagements.
Multidisciplinary stakeholder management experience across IT, finance, and other business areas.
Proficiency in communicating and presenting project information to teams and stakeholders.
A passion for continuous learning and innovative technologies.
Desire to identify new opportunities and create proposals addressing clients’ complex needs.
