Senior Manager / Associate Director – Advisory


Salary: £67,000 - £105,000 + bonus

Location: London (hybrid)


About the Role


Our client is a growing specialist consulting firm operating at the intersection of strategy, transformation, and infrastructure advisory. They work with major organisations across the infrastructure and capital sectors, helping them shape and deliver some of their most complex transformation and mobilisation programmes.


The firm is building out its advisory capability, with a strong focus on programme strategy, governance, and organisational design. As part of this growth, they are looking for a Senior Manager / Associate Director to play a key role in leading client engagements and shaping the future of the practice.


What You’ll Be Doing


Advisory & Programme Leadership

  • Advise senior stakeholders (SROs, C-suite, programme boards) on strategy, governance, and mobilisation
  • Lead the design and structuring of complex transformation programmes, including operating model, delivery architecture, and team design
  • Own the quality of advisory output across engagements from framing through to delivery

Commercial & Account Management

  • Contribute to business development and account growth across engagements
  • At Associate Director level, lead account strategy, structure follow-on work, and own commercial relationships end-to-end
  • Support the development of the firm’s service offerings, methodology, and market positioning

Team & People Development

  • Build, lead, and develop high-performing consulting teams
  • Take ownership of developing junior team members as a core part of the role
  • Contribute to a culture of quality, feedback, and high-performance delivery


What We’re Looking For

  • Strong background in management consulting, delivering complex transformation or advisory programmes
  • Experience across operating model design, organisational change, programme mobilisation, or infrastructure transformation
  • Proven ability to operate as a trusted advisor to Director-level, SRO, or C-suite stakeholders
  • Experience owning or contributing to commercial activity (proposals, shaping work, client engagement)
  • Experience leading or developing consulting teams
  • Strong ability to balance strategic thinking with delivery ownership
  • Aviation experience is desirable but not essential, though a clear interest in the sector is required
