My client, a fast growing, forward‑thinking commercial business in Wrexham, is recruiting an experienced Senior Marketing Executive to join their team. This standalone role is ideal for a confident marketer who enjoys autonomy, variety, and the opportunity to shape and deliver impactful digital marketing activity.
You'll be responsible for driving multi‑channel campaigns that attract and engage prospective customers across email, SMS, WhatsApp, social media, website content, job boards, and emerging tools and platforms. Working closely with internal teams, external agencies, and Local Authorities, you'll ensure all marketing activity is compliant, values‑led, and aligned with the organisation's objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, deliver, and optimise multi‑channel marketing campaigns
Use a diverse mix of channels including email, SMS, WhatsApp, social media, website content, and paid platforms (e.g. Indeed sponsorship)
Test and introduce new tools and platforms within the agreed marketing budget
Create high‑quality content for email, social media, adverts, landing pages, and digital campaigns
Support the scheduling and creation of social media content to build awareness and engagement
Maintain and update website and campaign content (WordPress experience advantageous)
Manage content approvals, including coordination with Local Authorities
Ensure consistent tone, messaging, and compliance across all marketing outputs
Deliver marketing activity that generates and nurtures customer enquiries
Optimise nurture journeys and touchpoints to improve enquiry quality and conversion
Identify opportunities to strengthen engagement through improved marketing approaches
Track key performance metrics including engagement, enquiries, conversions, and cost efficiency
Analyse campaign results and apply insights to improve ROI
Work closely with the Head of Candidate Experience and recruitment teams to align marketing with business needs
Collaborate with external agencies on ongoing and project‑based work
Provide updates on campaign performance to internal and external stakeholders
Support and help organise two major annual eventsSkills & Experience Required:
Recent experience in a similar standalone Marketing or Digital Marketing role
Strong understanding of digital marketing automation, including email, SMS, WhatsApp, and chatbot workflows
Experience using HTML email editors and drag‑and‑drop builders
Excellent copywriting and content creation skills
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and optimise campaigns
Experience using marketing automation platforms (e.g. HubSpot, Mailchimp)
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Proactive, adaptable, and solutions‑focused approachDesirable:
Basic knowledge of Google Analytics
Experience using CRM systems (Vincere preferred)
Understanding of paid advertising
Graphic design skills (Canva or Adobe Creative Suite)Benefits:
