Senior Mechanical Engineer (Building Services)
Birmingham, UK
Full-time | Permanent
£40k–£55k + car + healthcare
About Us
We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join a growing building design consultancy based in Birmingham, delivering sustainable MEP and multidisciplinary projects across commercial, residential, education, and healthcare sectors.
The Role
Lead mechanical design (HVAC, plumbing, public health)
Coordinate with in-house and external teams
Support project delivery, client meetings, and mentoring juniors
Ensure compliance with UK regs and sustainable design standards
What You’ll Need
Degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering
Chartered or working toward CEng (CIBSE/IMechE)
Experience in a UK building design consultancy
Strong Revit, AutoCAD, Hevacomp, IES or similar software skills
