Your new companyAre you a Senior Mechanical Engineer looking to take the next step in your career with a consultancy known for delivering high-quality, design-led building services solutions? This forward-thinking engineering practice is expanding its Commercial team and is seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join them in London.You'll be working on a diverse portfolio of complex projects across commercial offices, high-end residential, and premium hotel developments -with the opportunity to influence design, lead packages of work, and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary specialists.Your new roleIn this role, you will:

Lead mechanical design delivery across commercial, residential and hotel schemes Develop design concepts, calculations, specifications and reports Coordinate with electrical, sustainability, BIM and architectural teams Attend client meetings and design workshops, representing the mechanical discipline Support junior team members and contribute to QA and technical standards Work across Stages 2-4, with exposure to full project lifecycle

What you'll need to succeed

Strong background in mechanical building services design Experience within at least one of: commercial offices, large residential schemes, or hotels Good working knowledge of UK regs, CIBSE guidelines and industry standards Proficiency in design software such as Hevacomp/IES; Revit experience beneficial Ability to communicate clearly with clients and internal teams Working toward chartership or already chartered is desirable
