My highly established, forward-thinking client is seeking a talented and motivated Senior Design Engineer to join their growing engineering team in Rochdale. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the design and development of innovative machinery and components, supporting the full product lifecycle from concept to manufacture and customer delivery.

Key Responsibilities: Design & Development • Design and develop new machines, assemblies, and components • Produce detailed 3D CAD models and 2D drawings (SolidWorks & PDM) • Create manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings, and bills of materials (BOMs) • Generate purchased equipment specifications for ancillary components • Perform design calculations and validation for new and modified designs

Cross-Functional Collaboration • Work closely with Sales, Purchasing, Production, Quality, and Service teams • Provide technical support across departments and to group companies • Assist in resolving customer issues through root cause analysis (RCA) • Participate in design reviews, project meetings, and factory acceptance tests (FAT)...
