Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Join a pioneering motion control company redefining hydraulics through additive manufacturing and precision engineering. Based in Central Bristol, you will lead the full technical lifecycle of next-generation hardware in a high-growth, high-performance environment.

The Role

  • Technical leadership of project teams and mentoring junior engineers.

  • Concept definition, detail design, and simulation (FEA/CFD).

  • Own prototype procurement and guide industrialisation at our local Tech Centre.

  • Drive product improvements through deep, first-principles analysis.

About You

  • 5+ years' experience in a high-complexity mechanical design role.

  • Proven ability to solve structural, thermal, and fluid flow challenges.

  • Background in hydraulics, aerospace, or automotive is highly beneficial.

  • Expert in 3D CAD (any platform) and technical drawing.

  • A growth mindset with a focus on ownership and action.
