Senior Mechanical Engineer required by my client a world leader in the superyacht industry . This is a temporary position, ideal for those with extensive expertise in mechanical design, specifically within marine engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

Developing and designing mechanical systems for marine projects

Creating detailed mechanical drawings and specifications

Reviewing and validating designs to ensure compliance with industry standards

Collaborating with other engineering disciplines to integrate system designs

Conducting technical analysis and simulations to optimise designs

Providing technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers

Managing project timelines and deliverables to meet client requirements

Ensuring the quality and integrity of mechanical designs through rigorous testing and inspections

Job Requirements:

Experience in mechanical design engineering within the marine sector

Proficiency in using BAE-Mechanical designer software

Strong understanding of marine engineering principles and practices

Ability to develop and interpret technical drawings and specifications

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Engineering degree or equivalent qualification in a related field
