ROLE- Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

TERM- Permanent

LOCATION – Huddersfield

SALARY- £40,000 - £60,000 (dependent on experience)

My client designs and manufactures equipment for Water industry. They are looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team in Huddersfield on a permanent basis.

The Mechanical Engineer will ideally have the following attributes: At least 10 years’ experience in a similar Design Engineering / Mechanical Engineering position at least 10 years' experience working and designing sheet metal products Degree / HNC / HND / BTEC / NVQ qualified in Mechanical Engineering or similar Previous experience in a similar role in a manufacturing environment Experience working with hydraulics and pneumatics would be beneficial A background in Water related industries would also be ideal – Specifically waste water! 5+ years' experience with sheet metal design and manufacture Be proficient using 3D CAD software, they use SolidWorks and AutoCAD Knowledge of a variety of materials and manufacturing processes Good theoretical mechanical engineering k...
