Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Are you an experienced mechanical design engineer with a background in special-purpose machinery? If so, please read on!
I am currently recruiting on behalf of a global leader in the design and manufacture of packaging machinery, primarily serving the food/beverage & pharmaceutical industries.
The successful candidate will be an experienced engineer, ideally having 10+ years of experience working on packaging machinery, however other special-purpose machinery backgrounds can be considered. You will be carrying out design work, leading the mechanical aspects of projects, and liaising with other engineers across disciplines to achieve effective results. This is a senior position so will involve some customer/stakeholder interaction, as well as leading other engineers on projects.
Experience wise, a background with SolidWorks would be ideal, however other mainstream CAD packages are also fine. The real importance is the previous experience with packaging machinery or similar, along with knowledge of machinery safety/compliance, GD&T etc.
The package includes a strong salary along with 1 day a week remote working, very flexible start and finish times, opportunity for paid overtime, and more.
