Senior Mechanical Engineer – Building Services
London | Hybrid Working

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and highly regarded building services consultancy at a time of continued growth. We’re looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer who wants to work on a diverse range of projects , take ownership of design delivery, and be part of a collaborative, forward-thinking team.
The Opportunity
You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality mechanical designs across multiple sectors, working closely with clients, architects, and internal teams. The role offers strong technical exposure, leadership responsibility, and a clear pathway for career development.
What You’ll Be Doing
Deliver mechanical building services design from concept through to completion
Lead projects and manage design delivery across multiple sectors
Coordinate with electrical, public health, and wider design teams
Mentor and support junior engineers
Liaise directly with clients, contractors, and stakeholders
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience as a Senior Mechanical Engineer within building services
Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, heating, cooling, and ventilation systems
Experience across sectors such as commercial, residential, healthcare, education or mixed-use
Familiar with UK building regulations and design standards
A proactive, collaborative approach with strong communication skills
