Responsibilities and duties of the Senior Mechanical Engineer role
Within the role you will:
Lead and manage mechanical design projects from concept through to completion Act as a key client interface, building and maintaining strong working relationships Develop design briefs, project-specific criteria, and cost-effective engineering solutions Oversee tender processes, budgets, and commercial aspects of project delivery Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams while ensuring quality of design and installation Support and mentor junior engineers while contributing to continuous improvement and technical excellence
