Purpose & Scope of the Role

As a Senior Mechanical Building Services Engineer, you will support and enhance project delivery across a diverse portfolio spanning sectors such as life sciences, defence, education, commercial and renewable energy. You will lead the design and delivery of mechanical building services, managing multiple projects or work packages with minimal supervision. The role involves full lifecycle design responsibility, including calculations, specifications, drawings, site inspections and construction-stage duties, while collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams and maintaining strong client relationships.

Skills, Qualifications & Experience

Degree in Building Services or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent). Chartered status, or working towards it, is desirable. Proven experience delivering mechanical design within a consultancy environment is essential. Eligibility for MOD SC clearance is required.

Working Environment

This role is preferably based in Manchester with flexible hybrid working available, working in the office alongside home working. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and undertake site visits as required, with flexibility to support both project delivery and personal commitments.
