Senior Mechanical Engineering ManagerMain Construction Contractor (Specialist MEP Division)Central LondonA leading Tier 1 specialist MEP contractor is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineering Manager to join their team on a landmark commercial development project in Central London.This is a major £40m MEP package, entering pre-construction in 2026, with site works commencing in early 2027 and practical completion scheduled for early 2028. This role offers the opportunity to shape the project from early-stage design through to delivery.The RoleAs Senior Mechanical Engineering Manager, you will:Lead and manage the mechanical engineering function from pre-construction through deliveryOversee and mentor 2 Mechanical Project EngineersDrive design coordination, value engineering, and technical complianceWork closely with internal MEP teams, consultants, and the main contractorEnsure programme, quality, and commercial targets are achievedPlay a key role in client engagement and stakeholder managementThis is a leadership-focused role with significant responsibility across technical, programme, and people management aspects.About YouWe are looking for:Proven experience delivering large-scale commercial new build projectsStrong mechanical background within Tier 1 or major MEP contractorsExperience managing and developing engineering teamsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to lead from pre-construction through to completionSenior Mechanical Project Engineers ready to step up will also be considered and are encouraged to apply.Package£100,000 - £110,000 basic salary£7,200 car allowanceTravel reimbursementPrivate healthcarePension24 days annual leave + additional benefitsClear progression pathway within a leading specialist MEP divisionReferral schemeKnow someone suitable for this role?We offer a referral reward of approximately £500 in retail vouchers for a successful recommendation.
