Job Description

Our client is a leading M&E contractor who is looking for a Senior Mechanical Estimator to join their Leeds team, focusing on high profile, technically complex mechanical and electrical projects across multiple sectors.\n\nSenior Estimators are a valuable part of the business, where they effectively utilise experience and knowledge within a team to produce tenders and prepare competitive estimates. They have a team of 12 located in Leeds, you would be working alongside a strong team who are planning growth out of their North East & North West offices, there will be opportunity to progress to Estimating Manager in time!\n\nAs a Senior Estimator you will\n• Ensure that all estimating processes and procedures are followed to deliver a submission following tender settlement\n• Work with surveyors in preparation of quantified schedule of rates and bill of quantities\n• Prepare tender summaries and attend start-up pre-price and price meetings\n• Assist in preparation for settlement meeting enquiring whether risk register, prelims and labour rates have been done.\n\nWHAT'S ON OFFER\n\n• Competitive salary & bonus\n• Flexible working (2/3 days remote per week)\n• Car Allowance / Company Car\n• Travel covered to any sites\n• Industry leading benefits to included 26 weeks fully paid maternity, 12 weeks paid paternity.\n• Extensive corporate benefits including, Private Medical, Pension 6% employers’ contribution, Health & Wellness programme, 26 days holidays + bank holidays
