Our client is a well-established National M&E Contractor who are looking for a Senior Mechanical Estimator to join their team whose offices are based in Sunderland, focussing specifically on high profile, Data Centre and Advanced Manufacturing projects on a national basis. JOB PURPOSE This role will require you to lead the mechanical estimating function for data centre construction projects, ensuring accurate and competitive pricing of HVAC, cooling, and other mechanical systems. The role supports bid submissions and project planning, contributing to the successful delivery of high-performance, mission-critical environments. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Prepare detailed cost estimates for mechanical & public health systems including chilled, hot & cold water, above ground drainage, DX systems and pipework. Quantify materials, labour, equipment, and subcontractor costs specific to data centre environments.
