Your new role As a Mechanical Estimator, you'll play a key role in preparing accurate and competitive tenders for mechanical building services projects. Your responsibilities will include: Visiting sites to assess and cost mechanical works Preparing estimates using Excel or similar software Requesting and managing quotes from suppliers and subcontractors Reviewing drawings and specifications to clarify any uncertainties Creating detailed cost breakdowns including materials, labour, and travel Participating in internal bid reviews and client meetings Writing clear and professional tender documents Supporting project handovers to the delivery team Tracking tender progress and following up for feedback What you'll need to succeed BTEC ONC/HNC in Building Services or equivalent Minimum 5 GCSEs including Maths
