Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Project Manager to lead a high‑value CHP and heating project in Leeds for a major blue‑chip client. This is a client‑facing role requiring strong mechanical expertise, adaptability, and exceptional stakeholder communication skills.

The project contract has recently been signed and is now moving through a phase where programme variations are impacting cost and delivery timelines. The successful PM will be confident operating in a changing environment, providing calm, decisive leadership while maintaining transparency and trust with the end client.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the mechanical delivery of a £3m CHP and heating project project from mobilisation through to completion Act as the primary point of contact for the end client and key stakeholders Manage and communicate programme variations, including their impact on cost, scope, and delivery timelines Maintain accurate reporting on progress, risks, and changes Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal delivery teams Ensure health & safety, quality, and compliance standards are met throughout the project Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation s...
