The Client and Project Info:

My client is a leading M&E Contractor who are currently recruiting a Senior Mechanical Project Manager to deliver complex healthcare projects across the Birmingham. This role will involve managing full mechanical packages on hospital and healthcare schemes, from pre-construction through to final handover.

Senior Mechanical Project Manager Responsibilities:

Taking full responsibility for the delivery of mechanical packages on healthcare projects.

*

Managing project teams, including Mechanical Project Managers, Site Managers, and Supervisors.

*

Overseeing programme, budget, and commercial performance of projects.

*

Working closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.

*

Reviewing and managing design development, technical submissions, and procurement strategies.

*

Ensuring QA, compliance, and commissioning processes meet healthcare and HTM standards.

*

Identifying and resolving technical and programme risks.

*

Ensuring all works are delivered safely and in line with company and site procedures.

*

Attending client meetings and senior management reviews.

Senior Mechanical Project Manager Requirements:

*

Proven experience delivering mechanical packages on healthcare projects (hospitals, clinics, laboratories).

*

Strong background working for M&E Contractors.

*

Mechanical engineering or trade background.

*

SMSTS.

*

Strong understanding of HTM standards and healthcare regulations.

*

Excellent leadership, communication, and commercial awareness.

*

Willingness to travel to projects UK wide.
