MU Sales & Tendering Engineer
As a Sales & Tendering Engineer, you will support customer enquiries and orders, playing a key role in the preparation and delivery of multi-utility tenders. You will be responsible for producing accurate, commercially sound, and competitive tender submissions within your remit.
Building and maintaining strong client relationships is essential, alongside applying your technical knowledge, training, and experience to deliver high-quality, robust proposals. You will be confident in providing technical advice and engaging with clients both remotely and face-to-face, ensuring all submissions are clear, accurate, and error-free.
Reporting to the Tendering Manager or Head of tendering, you will be responsible for producing tender documentation, cost estimates, and technical design inputs for LV and HV electrical network connections, typically up to 11kV. You will support the development of robust engineering solutions that comply with DNO/IDNO requirements, statutory regulations, G81 standards, ENA guidelines, and CDM obligations. Working closely with internal engineering, civils, and delivery teams, as well as external stakeholders such as DNOs, IDNOs, suppliers, and subcontractors, you will help produce comprehensive tender submissions.
