Salary: From £28,500
Hours: 40 hours per week (Full Time, All Year Round)

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Deputy Room Leader to support the management of a nursery room and help lead a team in delivering outstanding childcare.

About the Role

As Deputy Room Leader, you will support the Room Leader in managing the day-to-day running of the room, ensuring high standards of care, education, and safeguarding are consistently maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Room Leader in managing the room and staff team
  • Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with EYFS
  • Monitor childrens development and maintain accurate records
  • Act as a key person and support colleagues in their roles
  • Ensure safeguarding, health & safety, and Ofsted standards are met
  • Build strong relationships with parents and carers
Requirements
  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or above)
  • Previous experience in a senior practitioner or room-based role
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Good understanding of EYFS and safeguarding
