Senior Operational Technology (OT) Security Consultant Manchester, England, United Kingdom Amentum offers an exciting opportunity to join our growing Cyber Security team, working on diverse projects for Critical National Infrastructure, National Security, Defence, and Nuclear markets. Our team focuses on Nuclear markets but you may work across multiple sectors. Your role will support the full spectrum of security engineering activities for OT systems, collaborating to deliver cyber security solutions, mitigate risks, and support secure digital transformation. Key Responsibilities

Develop security requirements, architecture, and design for complex OT systems. Develop cyber security assessment approaches. Specify and implement a robust security risk management process. Support accreditation activities with the client and regulating authorities. Conduct security reviews and risk assessments in accordance with IEC 62443. Provide technical assistance to business development. Maintain familiarity with relevant legislation and regulations. Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications & Requirements

Experience in similar roles or transferable skills. Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Management (CISM); GICSP is a plus. Able to travel to client sites semi-regularly (2-3 days per week). Cyber Security experience with a focus on OT. Practical experience in IT/OT risk assessment approaches. Understanding of design considerations for operational safety and availability. Hands‑on experience with OT environments, operating systems, and security solutions. Knowledge of networking technologies, protocols, and security architectures. Familiarity with standards: EU NIS, ISA/IEC 62443, ISO 27000, MITRE ATT&CK, NIST CSF, NCSC CAF, ONR principles.
