Our client, a well know global activewear brand - known for fusing comfort, design, and affordability- is looking for a Senior Wholesale Operations Manager to join its London-based team.


This is a hands-on, detail-focused role, managing the full wholesale lifecycle from sales orders through to delivery across global markets.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITES


Operational Execution & Order Fulfilment

  • Own end-to-end order management and fulfilment execution across B2B and wholesale channels.
  • Ensure accurate order entry, allocation, booking rules, and delivery execution.
  • Act as first point of control for operational issues impacting customers or revenue.

Wholesale & Customer Operations

  • Support high-SLA European wholesale operations, working closely with Sales and Customer Service.
  • Ensure compliance with customer routing guides, delivery windows, EDI requirements, and chargeback rules.
  • Maintain strong service levels (OTIF, fill rate, order accuracy).

3PL, Warehousing & Logistics

  • Manage day-to-day performance of 3PLs, warehouses, and logistics partners.
  • Monitor inbound, storage, pick/pack, outbound, and returns performance.
  • Support contract governance, SLA adherence, and continuous improvement with partners.

S&OP & Planning Execution

  • Support the management in S&OP execution, translating demand and supply plans into operational actions.
  • Coordinate inbound supply and track critical path milestones.
  • Flag risks early and drive mitigation plans with cross-functional teams.

Issue Resolution & Peak Readiness

  • Own issue resolution and escalation management during operational breakdowns (missed deliveries, stock shortages, system or partner failures).
  • Support operational readiness for seasonal peaks and launches, ensuring people, partners, systems, and stock flows are prepared in advance.

Performance Management & Improvement

  • Drive operational performance tracking and reporting using KPIs such as OTIF, service levels, inventory flow, and cost-to-serve.
  • Identify bottlenecks, prioritise actions, and implement practical process improvements.
  • Support the transition from reactive execution to more stable, repeatable operations.

Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Working

  • Lead and develop operational teams across order management, customer service, and logistics.
  • Act as a key cross-functional link between Sales, Planning, Finance, IT, and Supply teams.
  • Bring structure, clarity, and accountability to day-to-day operations.



REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPEREINCE

  • 8–15+ years’ experience in operations, supply chain, or wholesale execution roles.
  • Strong background in order management, logistics, and 3PL environments.
  • Proven experience supporting European B2B / wholesale operations.
  • Comfortable working in fast-growth, imperfect, change-heavy environments.
  • Systems-literate (ERP, order management systems, WMS), with a delivery-focused mindset.
  • Proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs essential)
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Detail-driven with strong communication and follow-up skills
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, scaling business with evolving processes
  • Friendly, can-do attitude with a strong sense of ownership.
