Wood is currently recruiting for a Senior Operations Process Engineer to be based in our Clients office in Aberdeen on a hybrid basis 3 days in their office. This will be on a 6 month duration on a PSC basis working outside IR35,fixed term staff or PAYE is also an option


Able to develop operating procedures for projects related scopes and manage the interface across offshore ops/onshore ops and project teams. Initial work will be Teal West focused and then linked to deck seal/ WHRU etc. Requires good understanding of process systems/operations.


Description for Internal Candidates

• Provide Process Engineering Expertise




• Provide input to development process studies




• Define process requirements for technical scopes related to various platform modifications




• Originating, checking and approval of process engineering design deliverables including but not limited to; P&IDs, calculation, datasheets, line lists to enable development of deliverables used in modifications, offshore work-packs and in the supply chain




• Provide support to HAZOPs/HAZID's and other technical reviews as required




• Undertake checking and approval of process deliverables




• Provide support to the contract delivery team




• Provide technical expertise to the contract




• Resolve process related engineering issues by applying accepted principles, codes and standards




• Adhere to procedures to assure technical integrity of process designs




• Provide support for interdisciplinary considerations through attendance at required design reviews and undertaking inter discipline checking




• Maintain own knowledge and understanding to meet competence requirements of Senior Process Engineer




• Provide feedback on lessons learnt to aide in continuous improvement




• Utilise software tools in design development and checking as required (eg Hisys)

MSc, MEng or equivalent professional qualification or BSc, BEng or equivalent with some considerable experience or HNC / HND or equivalent with relevant considerable experience
