About the Role Senior or Principal Electrical Engineer – responsible for supporting and delivering designs for a range of project types and sizes within multidisciplinary teams. Key Responsibilities
Day‑to‑day technical delivery of electrical design services for multi‑disciplinary projects across several building sectors. Lead the development of initial strategic concepts, ensuring solutions are appropriate to the brief and regulatory standards. Engage regularly with internal and external stakeholders, maintaining a communicative, collaborative and timely approach. This client‑facing role involves attending project meetings and translating the brief within the project team. Monitor fee expenditure, resources and work delivered in partnership with the team leader. Mentor and support the next‑generation professionals, including apprentices and graduates.
About You To be successful you will need:
Proven experience working as an Electrical Engineer or in a closely related role, with a track record delivering on a range of complex projects. Experience with modern technical delivery processes and use of relevant software/tools such as BIM, Revit, Electrical OM, Dialux and Relux. Demonstrable experience working with clients, contractors and architects in a design‑oriented or consultant role. Self‑awareness, an open mind, and a spirit of generosity. Experience in supporting others to develop knowledge, skills and confidence.
