Job Overview
Version 1 seeks an experienced Oracle Cloud Financials Consultant to work in our Managed Services Team. The successful candidate will join our Managed Services Support team, forming part of Version 1’s ERP Practice. Candidate should be customer focused, process driven and have strong documentation skills.
Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day functional application support for Oracle Fusion Financials across multiple client environments
Demonstrate strong functional expertise across core Oracle Fusion Financial modules, gained through implementation and/or support experience
Take ownership of Tax configuration, setup, and ongoing support, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and optimal system performance
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve functional support issues efficiently, delivering high-quality fixes and long-term improvements
Add value by proactively identifying opportunities to enhance existing functionality and improve system usage, particularly within the Tax module
Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for system changes and enhancements
Collaborate closely with technical consultants and developers to translate business requirements into effective system solutions
Act as a trusted point of contact for clients, ensuring all change requests are well-designed, assessed, prioritized, and managed through to successful delivery
Maintain clear communication with stakeholders, providing updates on progress, risks, and outcomes
Qualifications
Experience in Oracle Cloud (SaaS) Financial Modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Fixed Assets and Tax
Experience in Oracle Cloud Reporting: Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence, Financial Reporting Studio and Smartview
Experience with Oracle OUM and/or AIM methodology
Experience working effectively within a team
Organised and self‑motivated
Ability to multi‑task and prioritise across concurrent support projects required
Management of change requests through the development and testing lifecycle confirming to project management standards and scope
Liaising with Oracle to ensure effective management of client SRs
Ensuring that clients are supported and kept up to date with the latest Oracle Cloud quarterly releases
Managing on‑time project delivery and business expectations and ensuring internal customer satisfaction
Advising clients on options, risks, and any impacts on other processes or systems
Completing tasks efficiently and in a timely manner
Eligibility for SC Clearance
Essential Qualifications
5+ years of experience in an Application Support Analyst role or a similar functional support position
Strong hands‑on experience supporting Oracle Cloud SaaS Financial modules, including:
General Ledger
Accounts Payable
Accounts Receivable
Cash Management
Fixed Assets
Intercompany Accounting
Proven experience working with the Oracle Fusion Tax module, including configuration and ongoing support
Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements and solution designs into effective functional system solutions
Solid understanding of ITIL processes, with experience working within structured service management frameworks
Desirable Skills
Experience participating in Oracle Cloud Financials implementations and/or upgrade projects
Hands‑on experience configuring and supporting Smart View reports
Exposure to or experience supporting additional Oracle SCM modules
Strong functional and technical problem investigation and troubleshooting skills
Oracle Cloud Financials and/or Oracle Tax certifications
