Role: Senior P2P AnalystLocation: Manchester (Hybrid)Job Type: Permanent, Full-timeSalary: £40,000 - £42,000 Per Anum About the RoleWe are recruiting for a Senior P2P Finance Analyst to join a growing transactional finance function within a large international organisation operating in the logistics and supply chain sector.This role will take ownership of the Procure to Pay function within the Transactional Finance team, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of supplier payments across multiple entities. You will play a key role in overseeing supplier reconciliations, resolving complex queries, and ensuring strong controls and compliance across the payables process.As a senior member of the team, you will lead a group of P2P Analysts and Administrators, supporting their development while driving high standards of service delivery to both internal stakeholders and external suppliers.This position is well suited to someone who enjoys leadership responsibility, thrives in a high-volume transactional environment, and is motivated by improving processes and strengthening financial controls.Key Responsibilities for the Role: Lead the day-to-day delivery of the Procure to Pay function, ensuring supplier payments are accurate and processed on time across multiple entitiesOversee supplier statement reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies or complex vendor queriesManage and support a team of P2P Analysts and Administrators, providing guidance on escalations and complex issuesReview aged items, reconciling balances and subledger risks to maintain strong financial controlSupport the month end process, including input into accruals and ensuring the completeness of payables dataBuild strong working relationships with internal teams and suppliers to improve query resolution and on time paymentsAssist with monthly reporting and performance reviews across the P2P functionIdentify opportunities to improve processes, controls and efficiencies within the payables operationWork closely with senior finance leadership to drive continuous improvement across the transactional finance team What we are looking for: Minimum 5 years' experience within a P2P, Accounts Payable or transactional finance rolePrevious experience supervising or leading a team within a finance environmentStrong supplier reconciliation and query resolution experienceExperience working in high volume transactional environmentsStrong understanding of P2P processes and financial controlsExperience using ERP systems such as SAP (R3 or S/4 preferred)Experience managing Direct Debits and complex supplier queriesKnowledge of VAT and other relevant financial compliance requirements If you're looking to bring your technical accounting expertise into a business with exciting growth ambitions and a supportive, collaborative culture, this could be your ideal next move.To be considered for this fantastic opportunity, you must APPLY NOW, making sure to attach your up-to-date CV.*Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an initial telephone interview.
