Role: Senior P2P Analyst Location: Manchester (Hybrid) Job Type: Permanent, Full-time Salary: £40,000 - £42,000 Per Anum About the Role We are recruiting for a Senior P2P Finance Analyst to join a growing transactional finance function within a large international organisation operating in the logistics and supply chain sector. This role will take ownership of the Procure to Pay function within the Transactional Finance team, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of supplier payments across multiple entities. You will play a key role in overseeing supplier reconciliations, resolving complex queries, and ensuring strong controls and compliance across the payables process. As a senior member of the team, you will lead a group of P2P Analysts and Administrators, supporting their development while driving high standards of service delivery to both internal stakeholders and external suppliers. This position is well suited to someone who enjoys leadership responsibility, thrives in a high-volume transactional environment, and is motivated by improving processes and strengthening financial controls. Key Responsibilities for the Role: Lead the day-to-day delivery of the Procure to Pay function, ensuring supplier payments are accurate and processed on time across multiple entities Oversee supplier statement reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies or complex vendor queries Manage and support a team of P2P Analysts and Administrators, providing guidance on escalations and complex issues Review aged items, reconciling balances and subledger risks to maintain strong financial control Support the month end process, including input into accruals and ensuring the completeness of payables data Build strong working relationships with internal teams and suppliers to improve query resolution and on time payments Assist with monthly reporting and performance reviews across the P2P function Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls and efficiencies within the payables operation Work closely with senior finance leadership to drive continuous improvement across the transactional finance team What we are looking for: Minimum 5 years' experience within a P2P, Accounts Payable or transactional finance role Previous experience supervising or leading a team within a finance environment Strong supplier reconciliation and query resolution experience Experience working in high volume transactional environments Strong understanding of P2P processes and financial controls Experience using ERP systems such as SAP (R3 or S/4 preferred) Experience managing Direct Debits and complex supplier queries Knowledge of VAT and other relevant financial compliance requirements If you're looking to bring your technical accounting expertise into a business with exciting growth ambitions and a supportive, collaborative culture, this could be your ideal next move.
