MacGregor Black is partnering with a high-growth, premium non-alcoholic beverage producer on the search for a Senior Packaging Operator. This is a permanent, Monday–Friday role, based on-site in Buckinghamshire.
This position plays a critical role within the production team, supporting the Packaging Lead and ensuring that all product is packaged to the highest quality standards. You will be hands-on across bottling and canning operations, while also contributing to wider production and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate and maintain bottling and canning lines in line with SOPs and quality standards
* Support the Packaging Lead in day-to-day packaging operations and line performance
* Take responsibility on shift, alternating between supervisor and support roles as required
* Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards
* Identify packaging risks and support mitigation and quality control processes
* Monitor line efficiency and contribute ideas to improve performance and output
* Work closely with production teams to update SOPs and improve ways of working
* Support training and development of team members across packaging processes
* Assist across wider production, fermentation, and warehouse operations when required
* Maintain high standards of data accuracy, organisation, and operational discipline
Qualifications and Experience
* Experience within food or drink production, ideally across bottling or canning lines
* Strong mechanical, hands-on approach with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving production environment
* Proactive, self-starting mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
* Flexible approach to workload and responsibilities across the wider operation
* Forklift licence beneficial but not essential
* Positive, team-oriented attitude with the ability to support and influence others
