Senior PCB Design Engineer | Hybrid | Saffron Walden | £40-55k A consultancy working on the edge of physics is looking for a PCB expert to own the PCB design & manufacture function of the engineering team.

You will collaborate with elite designers on leading-edge RF, digital, and analogue technologies across the commercial, industrial, and defence sectors.

This is more than a design role.

You will help lead their hardware capability and drive excellence in PCB technology.

Responsibilities Generate high-quality, manufacturable designs from engineering schematics Negotiate stack-ups, costs, and timescales with external contractors, and maintain strategic relationships with PCB manufacturing and CAD suppliers Conduct internal and external design reviews and ensure all deliverables meet rigorous quality standards Technical Requirements Proficiency in schematic capture and layout, supported by a portfolio of successful projects ideally in RF or mmW designs Deep understanding of SMT, DFA, DFM, and IPC standards Confident communicator capable of engaging with external suppliers and internal stakeholders to help negotiate best outcomes. xbpsjku
