This is an outstanding opening for an experienced Pensions professional keen to join a market leading Pensions Consultancy and their incredibly strong dynamic Risk Settlement Group where you will have the opportunity to lead high-profile transactions, influence the development of new propositions, and have a broader impact beyond your immediate client portfolio. About the role As a Senior Consultant within this Risk Settlement Group, you will be a key contributor to a large, specialist team advising clients across the Pension risk transfer market. You will play a senior role in delivering complex settlement transactions and shaping strategic outcomes for clients. What you’ll be doing, your responsibilities will include :
Acting as senior support or lead transaction adviser on a wide range of settlement transactions, including buy-ins, buy-outs, wind-ups, longevity swaps, and consolidation or capital solutions Taking responsibility for the end-to-end delivery of transactions, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget Leading and managing relationships with key transaction stakeholders Advising clients on their strategic “Journey to Settlement”, including preparation, feasibility and market readiness Building and maintaining strong relationships with trustees, sponsors and other professional advisers to develop new settlement opportunities Playing a central role in new business initiatives, both internally and externally Using deep market knowledge to develop innovative settlement solutions Supporting marketing activity and thought leadership, including campaigns, events and conferences Contributing to the growth and strategic direction of the Risk Settlement Group Coaching, mentoring and developing colleagues to help build future leaders
Skills and experience required :
A proven track record of delivering Pension risk settlement transactions Broad industry experience with strong technical capability Excellent communication and relationship-building skills A self-motivated, ambitious mindset The ability to develop and support colleagues within collaborative teams Strong attention to detail alongside the ability to think strategically
