At Dementia UK, we pride ourselves on creating the best possible experience for every team member, from their first interaction with us and throughout their employee lifecycle. As a Senior People Operations Manager, you will lead the People Operations Team (POPs), overseeing transactional HR activities, including management of our HR information system, payroll, and benefits administration.
You’ll provide strong operational leadership, managing core employee lifecycle processes and supplier relationships within the POPs remit. You will develop and coach the POPs team to ensure high-quality, consistent service delivery and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
You will also oversee our payroll process, ensuring statutory compliance with HMRC and The Pensions Regulator, lead on the annual salary review and job evaluation processes alongside the Reward and Benefits Manager, and monitor trends and employee feedback to keep our employee benefits competitive.
Successful candidates will have extensive experience managing a busy People Operations team in the UK, with technical expertise in HR systems, payroll, benefits, and pensions. Strong knowledge of UK Employment Law, GDPR, and Internal Audit Compliance is essential. You should demonstrate the ability to handle a busy workload and conflicting priorities calmly and efficiently, with excellent planning skills and IT literacy.
