You'll manage planning applications of varying scales and complexity, undertake site appraisals, prepare appeal documentation, and lead on Local Plan representations. You will also have opportunities to support junior colleagues and contribute to continued team growth.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nManaging and coordinating planning applications from inception through to determination\n\nPreparing planning statements, appeal documentation, and Local Plan representations\n\nUndertaking site appraisals and feasibility assessments\n\nLiaising with clients, local authorities, and external consultants\n\nSupporting and mentoring junior team members where required\n\nContributing to business development and maintaining client relationships\n\nAbout You\n\nDegree in Town Planning or a related discipline\n\nMRTPI qualified (or very close to achieving chartership)\n\nIdeally 5-10 years of experience within planning (consultancy or local authority)\n\nStrong understanding of the UK planning system and legislation\n\nExcellent written, verbal, and project management skills\n\nAbility to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment\n\nTo apply or learn more, contact Joel Bland at Penguin Recruitment
