Senior Platform Engineer A leading global Insurtech organisation is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to maintain, optimise, and evolve its cloud platform. This high-impact, hands-on role focuses on low-level cloud architecture, developer experience and tooling, SRE, and cloud security. The successful candidate will join a team of experienced platform and cloud engineers to improve scalability, reliability, developer experience, and time-to-market for product teams. This role combines deep experience operating large-scale cloud systems with a passion for streamlining the path to production. What the Role Will Involve Leading complex platform initiatives from concept through to production, ensuring alignment, unblocking dependencies, and delivering reliable platform components that underpin core products. Maintaining and operating a global, highly available infrastructure platforms panning five regions with 24/7 usage. Supporting customer success and product development teams to deliver value, including participation in out-of-hours on-call rotas. Championing engineering best practices across CI/CD, SRE, networking, and cloud security to raise standards of quality and reliability.
