An opportunity has opened within a fast-paced Retail pricing team for a Senior Portfolio Pricing Analyst to take ownership of portfolio insight and forward performance views. This position sits at the intersection of pricing analytics and commercial decision-making, offering strong visibility and genuine business impact.
You'll partner closely with street pricing, modelling, Finance and Trading teams to drive smarter portfolio outcomes. It's particularly well suited to analysts from capital modelling or reserving backgrounds who want to transition into pricing, as well as pricing analysts keen to broaden their commercial influence.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain forward-looking profit and loss ratio projections across Retail products
- Produce quarterly outlooks to support reserve and performance reviews
- Generate clear, actionable insight to enhance portfolio results
- Work collaboratively with Pricing, Trading, Finance and Claims stakeholders
- Investigate performance movements and identify key drivers
- Take end-to-end ownership of a portfolio, with planned rotation to build wider exposure
About you
- Around 3-4 years' experience in pricing, reserving or capital modelling
- Strong technical grounding with good understanding of model outputs
- Comfortable translating data into commercial recommendations
- Experience with tools such as EMBLEM, Radar or Power BI advantageous
- Confident stakeholder communicator who enjoys cross-functional work
- Good appreciation of insurance trading and underwriting performance dynamics
