Job Description
Senior Software Developer - Hybrid (Manchester) - £55–60k - Public Sector Organisation
G.Digital are proud to be partnering with a large, purpose-driven public sector organisation that’s continuing to invest in its digital and software engineering capability. This is a brilliant opportunity to work on platforms that genuinely support education, research, and public good.
They’re looking for a Senior Software Developer who enjoys combining hands-on development with technical leadership - shaping solutions, mentoring others, and driving modern engineering practices.
What you’ll be doing:
✅ Leading the design and delivery of scalable, secure software solutions
✅ Translating complex business requirements into clean technical implementations
✅ Migrating legacy systems to modern frameworks and technologies
✅ Writing high-quality, reusable, maintainable code
✅ Mentoring developers and influencing engineering standards and best practice
What you’ll bring:
✔️ Solid experience as a Dynamics or Power Platform Developer
✔️ Strong software design principles (SOLID, clean code)
✔️ Expertise in one or more modern programming
✔️ Experience working in Agile delivery environments
✔️ A collaborative mindset with a passion for mentoring and improvement
