We are very proud to be partnering with a leading Lloyd's/London market insurer on significant growth with their actuarial pricing function.


Key to this growth is this senior pricing position which will lead on an area of business, but with exposure across class, and direct management for a small team of part-qualified actuaries. You will have exposure to lines of business including property, marine, energy, cyber, liability, A&H and others.


This role will partner closely with underwriters, providing analytical expertise and thought leadership from an actuarial perspective. This will include duties such as owning pricing models, profitability monitoring, underwriting performance, input into pricing strategy and motivating a dedicated pricing team.


This organisation is at the forefront of innovation in analytics within the London market, but also with the underlying focus on real business needs. There will be exposure to and active encouragement to do things differently or make things better.


Ideally you will have experience of working closely with London market underwriters, building strong relationships and communicating effectively to write profitable risks.


To be successful in securing this role, you will typically be a qualified actuary with property, casualty and/or specialty pricing experience. However, those with similar experience and without the actuarial designation should also apply.


Prior management or supervisory experience is also advantageous but this could also be a good role for someone to step up to this level.
