You will take ownership of ecology inputs across varied projects and see your judgement shape outcomes from early assessment through delivery. This role offers clear responsibility, breadth of work and space to progress without unnecessary layers.
What you will need
Strong experience within ecological consultancy Sound working knowledge of UK wildlife legislation and guidance Ability to lead ecological inputs within multidisciplinary project teams Confidence managing projects and reviewing technical outputs Salary and rewards £50,000 to £65,000.
What you will be doing
Lead ecological assessment and habitat design work across development and infrastructure related schemes Coordinate surveys, reporting and mitigation from early stage through to delivery Act as ecology lead on projects, managing scope, quality and programme Work closely with planners, engineers and other specialists to embed ecology early Support work winning activity and maintain effective client relationships Skills and background
Consultancy experience delivering Preliminary Ecological Appraisals, Ecological Impact Assessments and Biodiversity Net Gain assessments Strong report writing and quality assurance capability Proven botanical skills, ideally supported by Field Identification Skills Certificate experience or equivalent Experience with protected species surveying, mitigation ...
