About the job Senior Private Client SolicitorThe Role We are seeking a motivated and experienced Private Client Solicitor to join our team. You will manage your own caseload, supervise support staff, and provide exceptional client service, while contributing to the smooth running of the department.ResponsibilitiesEffective management of your own time, ensuring chargeable and non-chargeable hours targets are met.Working on files as appropriate, including drafting letters, collating evidence, and preparing cost letters.Dealing with new clients and liaising regarding initial enquiries.Managing legal documentation in strict confidence.Attending client meetings, taking instructions, and preparing cases.Conducting matters on behalf of clients in line with their instructions.Managing support services, including supervision of Paralegals and Legal Secretaries.Financial control, particularly regarding cashflow through collection of monies on account and billing procedures.Providing regular updates to clients on matters.Dealing with any queries raised by clients regarding specific matters.Submitting required documents to court prior to trial.RequirementsLegally qualified.Ability to use case management systems.High standard of computer literacy.Adaptable and flexible.Excellent time management and organisational skills.Demonstrated specialist knowledge of Private Client Law.Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. #J-18808-Ljbffr
