Senior Process Engineer


We are seeking an experienced Senior Process Engineer to join a technically driven wastewater team in Brighton. This hybrid role offers occasional site visits and the chance to make a real impact across multiple treatment projects.


What you’ll do:

▪️ Lead the development of innovative process solutions, delivering cost-effective, efficient wastewater treatment outcomes.

▪️ Produce technical design deliverables including process calculations, PFDs, P&IDs, control philosophies, and commissioning plans.

▪️ Support site operations through performance optimisation, troubleshooting, and implementation of improvement measures.

▪️ Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a collaborative, knowledge-sharing team culture.

▪️ Analyse performance data to inform technical solutions and drive continuous improvement.


What we’re looking for:

▪️ Degree in Chemical Engineering (BEng/MEng/BSc) or related discipline.

▪️ Ideally Chartered with a relevant professional body.

▪️ 6+ years’ experience in the UK water industry or consultancy.

▪️ Proven track record delivering wastewater treatment projects and operational support.

▪️ Strong technical report writing, data analysis, and presentation skills.
