Job Description

Our client, a rapidly expanding company in the procurement supply chain sector, is seeking a Senior Procurement Manager to join their newly restructured procurement function. This is a permanent role based in their London office operating on a hybrid model with three days in the office per week.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nManage and oversee the end-to-end procurement service\nReview the supply chain, address single-source dependencies, and expand the supplier pool\nDrive value through Request for Proposals (RFPs) and competitive bidding processes\nEngage with senior stakeholders with strong interpersonal and communication skills\nSelect and implement new procurement systems as required\nEnhance structure and governance within the procurement function\nWork closely with office and site-based teams, showing flexibility and adaptability\nSupport long-term frameworks with high-profile clients\n\nJob Requirements:\n\nExtensive experience in strategic procurement leadership, ideally within the energy, EV or infrastructure sector.\nStrong stakeholder management and collaborative skills\nDemonstrable resilience and ability to engage effectively with senior personnel\nExperience in using existing frameworks and processes, with the ability to establish a procurement function servicing all areas of the business\nUnderstanding of high-value CAPEX and OPEX categories\nProficiency with procurement systems and/or processes\nIdeally CIPS qualified or equivalent with an understanding of NEC/JCT\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with significant gravitas\n\nBenefits:\n\nPerformance-based discretionary bonus\nOpportunity to build and lead a procurement function within a growing company\nSupportive work environment with investor backing and a strong governance framework\nHybrid working model, based in a modern London office\nProfessional development opportunities\nIf you have experience as a Strategic Procurement Leader and are excited about the opportunity to rebuild and lead a dynamic procurement function, we would love to hear from you.
